Signs Of Alkhurma Hemorraghic Fever
October 18, 2018
Alkhurma hemorrhagic fever is a disease caused by infection of a tick-borne flavivirus. Infection can occur when a tick bites a person, or when an individual crushes a tick. Being around livestock seems to increase an individual's probability for contracting the disease, but it does not seem to be contractible through human contact. Being a virus, there is not much that can be done other than to let the immune system fight off the infection. In severe cases, an individual may need to be hospitalized to keep fluids at a normal level and to provide other life-sustaining procedures.
